ShortenMe Google Chrome Extension
While prepping materials for my recent presentation at Spring 2015 Convergence, I remembered a Google Chrome extension called ShortenMe that Pete Caggia had shared at the last Convergence I attended. I realized that I could use it both for prepping my presentation and during it. Unfortunately, this extension was no longer listed in the Chrome Web Store.
Fortunately, I found a workaround by downloading and manually installing the extension from Crx4Chrome. If you're looking for ShortenMe, look no further than the link below! Enjoy!

Syncing Google Calendars
Trying to work out how to fix colors and calendars in IOS 8 - updated with new info: Since I use multiple calendars, the link https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect fixed my Google Calendar issues. Modifying colors of these calendars was a little more challenging, but, a quick Google brought me to this forum post: The colors at http://jeffreysambells.com/2013/09/17/iphone-5c-5s-hex-colours worked particularly well for me this time! |

Google Gadgets Editor
The Google Gadget Editor has been invaluable in adding certain content to my Google Site. It sounds complicated, but you only have to use the Editor to create the "Gadget" which embeds content in your site. I used this tool to create my Twitter Feed on the front page and the Contact Me form from JotForm. The Google Gadget Editor can be found - http://www.google.com/ig/ifr?url=gge.xml - or - https://sites.google.com/site/mori79/labs/google-gadgets-editor. There are some pre-made gadgets and some really useful instructions at https://sites.google.com/site/mori79/html-gadgets |
